You have previous experience of working in catering or hospitality.
You have a determination to be successful and to lead a team of General Assistants.
You will be committed to the delivery of a high-quality service to our guests.
About the position
Be responsible for all household staff and for effective liaison with all colleagues.
Deputise in Management and Assistant Management's absence.
Complete such aspects of general administration as required by Management.
Ensure that the House operates to the standards required by HF Holidays.
In liaison with Management complete the induction of all new household staff.
Ensure that all household staff comply with HF Holidays policies, e.g. fire, safety precautions etc.
Supervise or assist the Management in the service of meals.
Development opportunities
Opportunities exist to transfer to other Country House accommodation if you wish, on recommendation of the House Manager.
Once you have been in post for an appropriate length of time, there will be opportunities to apply for Assistant Manager positions, on the recommendation of the House Manager.
Accommodation
Each week there is an offset against wages of £33.11 for accommodation and a charge of £14.39 for food (if required), this would include all meals for 7 days.
